Today, the Palm Beach International Airport officially becomes the President Donald J. Trump International Airport. President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence is located in Palm Beach County.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed the name change into law earlier this year, and airport signs along Interstate 95 were changed by the Florida Department of Transportation last week. The airport code is set to remain PBI until August 18. Two legal challenges have been filed to stop the state from changing the names of any of Florida’s seven commercial airports.
Freedom250 is accepting applications from male and female high school athletes between the ages of 14 and 17 for the 2026 Patriot Games in August. The nationally televised primetime competition will showcase strength, speed, agility, teamwork, resilience, and leadership, celebrating “the character, determination, and excellence that define the American Spirit.”
